After their short breakup in 2016, long time fans of The Butterfly Effect have had quite the wait for new music… We also scored a nationwide tour.
With their reunion tour a year and a half ago selling out, I couldn’t think of a better venue than the Forum. Which also sould out in the blink of an eye.
Clint Boge is back, belting it out on a vintage style microphone and demonstrating why The Butterfly Effect couldn’t work without him. 2 hours showcasing their back catalogue with hit after hit.
I have been to shows for almost 15 years and this is the first time i have seen the crowd sing every-single-song (except their latest melancholic track ‘Unbroken’, which I excused them for, as it was only a couple of weeks old)
After ticking off all the fan favourites ‘A Slow Descent’, ‘Gone’ and ‘Crave’ they returned to the stage for their trademark beer skull before finishing off the night with ‘Worlds On Fire’ and ‘Room Without A View’.
