Video Premiere - Neighbourhood Youth - Aim For The Head
We’re pleased to premiere the latest single for Melbourne’s own Neighbourhood Youth - Aim For The Head.
‘Aim For The Head’ is the next piece off the band’s debut album, which is due early next year and will be backed up by a tour with Press Club, shows with Bloods and Good Doogs and a headline slot at Adelaide’s ‘Our Place Festival’ in December.
‘Aim For The Head’ was shot and compiled around the French Quarter of Hanoi, while the band were holidaying in Vietnam. It’s also the first song to feature lead vocals from guitarist Liam Jenkins, who’s Australiana infused voice steers the band’s signature sound in a fresh direction. As Liam explains, the song is about “the fear of being ruthless and recognising negative actions in the ones you love the most”.
