TISM Announce Support Acts For Exclusive One-Off Melbourne Performance, Wankers Of The World, Unite! Live At PICA This May

Prepare for the international theatrical debut of TISM's Death To Art Live at Sidney Myer Music Bowl film this May, with the band's exclusive one-off screening at PICA in Melbourne, which is also set to feature support from THE BELAIR LIP BOMBSDR SURE'S UNUSUAL PRACTISE and LARGE MIRAGE.

With blissful hues, heartfelt thematics and hook-laden indie rock primed to burrow into your soul, Frankston's very own THE BELAIR LIP BOMBS have been weaving musical magic together since 2017. Turning heads early on in their journey across the Melbourne scene, supporting the likes of Ladyhawke, Spacey Jane, Slowly Slowly, Tired Lion, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, British India and more, THE BELAIR LIP BOMBS released their debut self-titled EP in 2018, ultimately building to their long-awaited 2023 debut album Lush Life; an evocative and cohesive collection of songs that was recently reissued through Jack White's Third Man Records, followed by their acclaimed 2025 sophomore album Again.. Whether enamouring onstage at Austin's SXSW festival, The Great Escape in the UK, supporting Hockey Dad and Militarie Gun, or embarking on their own headline shows across the globe, THE BELAIR LIP BOMBS are, as described by The Note of a recent 2026 performance, "a well-oiled machine...The Belair Lip Bombs are ones to watch."

Melbourne synth punks DR SURE'S UNUSUAL PRACTICE swiftly became a cult favourite after emerging in 2019, ticking off albums, international tours and supports alongside fellow punk icons King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Tropical Fuck Storm and Ty Segall. A band renowned for embracing synth punk and art rock, full throttle and no limits, DR SURE'S UNUSUAL PRACTICE blend their diverse sound with political jabs and feverish performances, channeling punk in its earliest form; no limits, music for dreamers, oddballs and outsiders. Releasing their third studio album Total Reality in 2024, the group catapulted into the limelight, earning praise from Henry Rollins, who named the record in his Top 10 releases of the year, along with Rolling Stone who placed the album in their top 50 Records of 2024. Helmed by Central Queensland-born, Melbourne-based artist Dougal Shaw, DR SURE'S UNUSUAL PRACTICE's creative output is written, recorded, mixed and released through Shaw's own Marthouse Records, with the group most recently unleashing their brand new EP Blue in 2025.

Like a spectacular vintage fever dream for the modern era, young Aussie rockers LARGE MIRAGE melt retro psychedelic rock with shimmering finesse, planting their boots firmly in the golden soil of 1970s hard rock but with their eyes fixed on the future. Forming in 2021, LARGE MIRAGE's balanced storytelling, high-octane live shows and heavy-rock-meets-psych-pop wiles have seen them share stages with everyone from AC/DC through to The Screaming Jets, Amyl & The Sniffers and the Australian Rock Collective, along with acclaimed performances at Woodford Folk Festival, Lost Paradise, Party In The Paddock and King Street Summer Crawl. Standing at the front of Australia's new wave of rock, LARGE MIRAGE's recent 2025 sophomore EP Wings Of Time was praised by RPM Online, declaring "they are the proof of time travel...the sound may come from many decades ago, but they feel current and essential today".

One of Australia's most influential and enduring bands, TISM have spent decades forging a reputation for their genre-blurring, boundary-smashing, sarcasm-wielding (and entirely anonymous) antics. Emerging in the late 80s, the often balaclava-clad group have explored dance, pop, rock and caustic wit amongst other musical delights, spanning seven studio albums, countless award nominations and two ARIA Award wins, millions of streams, and a live performance reputation that truly has to be seen to be believed.

Reforming via some secret shows and an appearance at Good Things Festival in 2022, TISM ticked off a headline run in 2024, with their Death To Art Tour boasting supports from Machine Gun Fellatio, Eskimo Joe and The Mavis's, and also in honour of their latest full-length Death to Art, which also became their highest charting album since the release of their seismic album Machiavelli and the Four Seasons.

Melbourne fans, definitely do not miss this once-in-a-lifetime performance in 2026; you'll never see TISM like this again elsewhere, ever.
