Any excellent Splendour in the Grass lineup comes with even better news:
Splendour in the Grass sideshows.
For those unable to venture up to the North Byron Parklands for Splendour in the Grass 2019 (running July 19-21), you can take solace in the fact that a heap of artists have announced their own headlining shows.
We’ve got a rundown of the essential sideshows making their way down to Melbourne for (a very busy) July run.
England’s Foals put on the type of live show that’ll leave you sweaty, panting, and rushing home to listen to their entire back catalogue. They’ve also just released their latest album – Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost (Part 1) – so make sure you study up so you can crowd surf appropriately. They’ll be joined by Warpaint for a stop at Margaret Court Arena on July 15. Floor tickets are already sold out, so you better act fast on what’s left. Find more info here.
Okay, fess up. You’ve most definitely belted out the chorus to “All The Stars” at least once in the last year. You’ve got SZA to thank for that Kendrick Lamar collab. She’ll be bringing her show to Margaret Court Arena on July 23. Tickets available here.
Catfish and the Bottlemen are all set to bring their third studio album – April 2019’s The Balance – to Australia. They’ll put on an energetic set at Margaret Court Arena on July 25. Grab tickets while the grabbing’s good.
Mike Skinner & his The Streets cohorts will be making their way through Melbourne’s Festival Hall July 18th, bringing all the hits that put them on the map as well as a few new numbers no doubt.
James Blake will once again be making his way to Melbourne’s Forum for two shows this July, the first is already sold out, dont sleep on these tickets!
