To celebrate the forthcoming Redd Kross and Hard-Ons tour, Cheersquad Records & Tapes have today released a split EP called Redd Kross/Hard-Ons containing 3 unreleased songs from each band.

The Redd Kross songs are acoustic versions of 2 songs off their self-titled latest album, as well as the longtime favourite ‘The Lady In The Front Row’. The Hard-Ons songs are extra tracks recorded at the same time as their latest record I Like You A Lot Getting Older.

The EP is available on limited edition opaque red 12" vinyl (200 only), limited edition translucent blue 12" vinyl (200 only), limited edition opaque yellow 12" vinyl (200 only), black 12" vinyl, digitally and - only available at the Redd Kross/Hard-Ons shows - translucent emerald green 12" vinyl.

Two titans of power-pop and punk rock reunite this March. LA cult legends REDD KROSS, celebrating 45 years of dayglo hooks, sly wit and sky-high choruses, join forces once again with Aussie icons THE HARD-ONS, fronted by the incomparable Tim Rogers, for a long-awaited tour across Australia.

With new music in tow and a shared history of high-volume brilliance, the two pioneer bands are set to light up stages from Queensland to Victoria. Expect high-voltage singalongs, fuzz-drenched anthems, and a masterclass in melodic brilliance from two of rock’s most enduring and prolific forces.

Two months out from their long-awaited joint Australian tour, Redd Kross and The Hard-Ons announced a venue upgrade for their Saturday March 14 show in Melbourne. Originally scheduled for The Tote, the show sold out up upon announcement and a second Tote show was announced. With the second show now also sold out, the Saturday night has been moved to the larger Thornbury Theatre and is now back on sale. The Sunday matinee show remains at The Tote.

Supports have also just been announced for the tour, and with the likes of Itchy & the Nits, Moler, Cammy Cautious & The Wrestlers, The Wellingtons and Leatherman, the list includes some of the finest punk and power pop bands this country has to offer. Since the tour was first announced, Melbourne and Sydney screenings of the Redd Kross feature length documentary Born Innocent: The Redd Kross Story have also been announced.
