Old Mervs announce Carparks Australian and New Zealand Tour

Australia's favourite indie-rock duo Old Mervs are hitting the road to play their biggest capacity venues yet, celebrating the release of sophomore album Carparks. This October and November, Dave and Henry will play a string of shows across Australia and New Zealand, stepping up into rooms including Melbourne's Forum and Sydney's Enmore Theatre for the first time.
The tour comes hot on the heels of Carparks official release date of Friday 2 October. Reuniting with producer Chris Collins (Royel Otis, Ruby Fields, Matt Corby), fans have already received tastes of what’s to come with singles "Heavy In The Morning", "Tether" and latest track "She Said”.
Of the album tour, singer Dave House says: “We cannot wait to get rolling into this tour. There are heaps of bucket list venues on this run and to get to play this album in them feels bloody good. It's been a while between headline Australian shows so we are amped to get into it!”
Drummer Henry Carrington-Jones adds “We’ve been sitting on the album for months and months, more than anything we’re stoked to get out and play some new songs and change the set up! As good as it is releasing, it's always the funnest part playing them.”
A chock full year of international touring, 2026 has been book-ended with Australian dates, starting the year with a regional tour, including their “On A Truck” shows in WA and ending with this huge metro run and festival slots at Handpicked, Rolling Sets and New Years Eve On The Hill for good measure.
By the time the album tour kicks off, Dave and Henry will have been to the US (twice!) and the UK, for a string of headline shows along with appearances at festivals like Gov Ball, Shakey Knees, Kendal Calling and Boardmasters.
By years end, the 2026 show tally will sit at 85, meaning these Carparks shows will be slick and polished yet in true Old Mervs style, fun and raucous.
Don't miss your chance to see Old Mervs bring Carparks to life,
