LANEWAY FESTIVAL SYDNEY & MELBOURNE SOLD OUT IN UNDER 1 HOUR

For the second year in a row — and only the second time in Laneway Festival’s history — Sydney and Melbourne have sold out on the first day of general sale. Each city sold out in under an hour — less time than Chappell Roan will spend commanding the stage with her 90-minute gothic fairytale spectacle at Laneway Festival 2026.

This marks an incredible milestone as the beloved tastemaker festival celebrates its 21st birthday. With dream debuts, long-awaited returns, and Laneway-only exclusives, the 2026 edition is set to deliver unforgettable live music moments across Australia and New Zealand this summer.

With Sydney and Melbourne gone in record time, a limited number of tickets remain for Auckland, Gold Coast, Adelaide and Perth. Fans are urged to get in quickly to secure their spot at one of the most anticipated Laneway editions yet!

The 2026 lineup includes Chappell Roan’s highly anticipated 90-minute set, Mercury Prize-winners Wolf Alice, PinkPantheress, Wet Leg, Role Model, Yung Lean & bladee, Lucy Dacus, Alex G, BENEE, Cavetown, Mt. Joy, The Dare, and a wave of rising international voices and Australian favourites.

Since its humble beginnings as a Melbourne street party in 2004, Laneway Festival has evolved into one of the most beloved touring festivals in the Southern Hemisphere — recognised worldwide as a launchpad for breakthrough artists and a marker of essential music.
