DMA’S ANNOUNCE SPECIAL GUESTS FOR AUSTRALIAN TOUR 2026
Australian trio DMA'S have announced an exciting array of artists to open their forthcoming East Coast double-set headline tour.
DMA'S Australian Tour 2026 will commence on November 27 at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall followed by a show at the Royal Botanic Gardens Melbourne on Saturday 28 November, as part of the Live at the Gardens series and wrapping up with a hometown show at the iconic Sydney Opera House Forecourt on December 3. Special guest for the Fortitude Music Hall, Brisbane and Sydney Opera House Forecourt shows, is LA band Automatic. Automatic make deviant pop music that cuts through the brainrot. Balancing irreverence with sharp commentary, they recently released their third album Is It Now?, building on the minimalist, danceable sound of earlier records Signal and Excess.
Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens show will include hometown heroes, opener Sleepazoid, and the critically acclaimed Floodlights. Sleepazoid, an alt-rock quintet fusing the raw energy of grunge, the atmospheric depth of shoegaze, and the driving rhythms of post punk, released their EP, New Age, earlier this year. Floodlights have swept all before them in recent years, the alt-rock 5 piece receiving rave reviews for their fresh take on Australian pub rock, as they continue to build a huge fan base both locally and across the globe.

Written and recorded between their own studio in Glebe, Sydney and LA, the album represents a defining moment for the band, showcasing the evolution of their signature anthemic sound with fresh sonic textures. It’s highlighted by the band co-producing most of the record with Grammy Nominated producer Lach Bostock (Mansionair), with help from Jimi Somewhere & Styalz Fuego.
Renowned for their captivating performances which have seen them play the world's largest stages including Glastonbury, Coachella, Lollapalooza and Splendour in the Grass, this run of shows will see DMA'S bring their upcoming fifth album to life for Australian audiences. As part of the shows, the band will also play two headline sets each night, including a special Hills End anniversary set to celebrate the 10-year milestone of their debut record.
