Charlotte Sands announces Australian tour
Nashville-based singer songwriter Charlotte Sands is heading down under in May 2024. Set to perform in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, this tour will see Charlotte venture to Australia for the first time for an epic string of emo-pop and punk-rock shows.
Charlotte Sands has had a busy year. She released an EP called "Good Now" in July and has been teasing songs from her upcoming album called "Can We Start Over?". The album is set to be released on January 24, 2024. One of Charlotte's songs on TikTok called "Dress" became very popular during the pandemic, reaching 46 million streams. She also went on tour in the UK and Europe, supporting 5 Seconds of Summer. Charlotte is determined to keep going strong and shows no signs of slowing down.
Get ready to be transported back to the early 2000's with Charlotte Sands, a rising star who draws inspiration from pop-punk bands of that era and intertwines it with her roots in folk storytelling. Sands has crafted a unique sound that juxtaposes upbeat melodies with fearlessly raw and self-reflective lyrics. Her journey in the music industry began with a daring move – stealing her mom's car, finding a roommate on Craigslist, and leaving her Massachusetts home behind to pursue her dreams in Nashville. Since then, Sands has never looked back. Along the way, she has had the opportunity to support renowned emo gods Simple Plan and My Chemical Romance, and perform at world-class festivals including Lollapalooza, Rock am Ring, and Rock im Park.
Through her music, Sands is on a personal mission to create a safe space where everyone can embrace their weirdness and celebrate their diversity. Don't miss the chance to experience the electrifying performance of this unapologetically honest artist who is making waves in the industry.
