Bury Tomorrow (UK) add Headwreck as national supports to their Australian tour with Gideon (US) this September

British metalcore titans Bury Tomorrow will return to Australia this September in support of their latest album Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience. The band will headline shows across the country with support from Alabama thrashers, Gideon, and today announce the addition of Brisbane nu-metal provocateurs Headwreck. Tickets on sale now via Destroy All Lines.
For Bury Tomorrow, the last two years have been defined by transformation. From the disorientation of line-up changes and COVID-inspired roadblocks, to the arrival of guitarist Ed Hartwell and keyboardist/vocalist Tom Prendergast, the band have rebuilt themselves from the inside out. Their 2023 record The Seventh Sun marked the beginning of their rebirth, but their newest chapter, Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience, is where everything truly came together. Crafted more intimately and intricately than ever before by internalising every aspect of the writing process, with Carl Bown (Sleep Token, Bullet For My Valentine, While She Sleeps) manning production duties for the first time, the result is a profoundly personal, extraordinarily expansive and punishingly grand display of cathartic craftsmanship.
Joining them in Australia is Gideon, known for blending metalcore with no-frills heaviness and their signature southern groove, fuelling them since 2008. Gideon have earned a reputation for their intense live shows, relentless touring ethic and thunderous sound. Over the years, Gideon has evolved from small-town beginnings into one of the most respected names in heavy music. Their records reflect the reality of life on the road and the lessons learned along the way - hard work, resilience, and a commitment to doing things their own way. Their last trip to Australia saw them supporting Void Of Vision in February 2025, delivering a set that left fans hungry for their return.
Rounding out the lineup is Headwreck, a band whose momentum over the past year has been impossible to ignore. Since first emerging in 2021, the quartet have honed a glitch-heavy, melody-driven sound that fuses ‘90s nu-metal, pop and hardcore into something entirely their own. Fresh off the release of their latest EP Attitude Adjustment, Headwreck have landed major support slots alongside We Came As Romans, The Amity Affliction, Windwaker, ERRA and Silent Planet to name a few, while next month they head to Europe for shows with Paledusk, Thrown and their debut appearance at Download Festival.
