The night ignited when Ho99o9 stormed the stage, a mutant fusion of hardcore punk, industrial hip-hop, and grimy electronica that felt like street-level revolution. Channeling furious vocals, militant sub-bass, and anarchic energy, they tore through tracks like “Street Power,” “The Dope Dealerz,” and “Bone Collector,” their performance breaking into raw crowd chants and a frenzied pit that screamed defiance and ecstasy in equal measure. Their set was a violent prelude, setting aflame the air before the main assault.
Then came The Dillinger Escape Plan, resurrected with original vocalist Dimitri Minakakis for this short-lived reunion to mark the 25th anniversary of Calculating Infinity. The band ripped into the album opener “Destro’s Secret,” unleashing blistering precision and pandemonium from the first note. With songs like “The Running Board,” “Calculating Infinity,” “Sugar Coated Sour,” “4th Grade Dropout,” “Abe the Cop,” and their explosive closer “43% Burnt,” the set was a masterclass in controlled chaos—each breakdown a calculated demolition, each riff a jagged blade. Theatre walls shook, bodies surged, and by the end, the audience was shattered—exhausted, exultant, and irreversibly altered.
